More NetGalley books this week! Some of them made me want to jump up and down and squeal, as much as I ever do (I’m not that kind of fangirl. My enthusiasm over this stuff is largely internalized.)
I also got to take out the Kindle Fire from work for a week as part of our library staff development. I’ve played with it a little bit, and hope to watch Dancing with the Stars on it later tonight! Thank goodness for tablets with Flash enabled!

Oh, I’ve hear the Deborah Harkness series is good! All three of these looks great!
It’s a fun series, although not my favorite. I’m hoping she reins the excess in a bit more in this book!
Eep. I didn’t really enjoy “The Thief” but I hope you do! I’m thinking of requesting “Shadow of Night” since I enjoyed the first book in the Witches series, so let me know your thoughts. And LOL everyone finally got “Immortal Rules”! Such a happy thing, that. Enjoy all of your books this week! <3

I took a chance on The Thief, so hopefully I like it a little better than you did. I’m eager to read Shadow of Night, although I thought Discovery of Witches was kind of pretentious. I’m hoping there’s less rowing, wine drinking, eating braised rabbit, yoga classes, and other pastimes of the paranormal rich and infamous.
Great set! Yay for Immortal Rules. I can’t wait to start it.

I enjoyed Discovery of Witches – but definitely agree with you that it was a little … too much in parts. I’ve heard good things about the 2nd book though. Hope you enjoy them all

It’s out in paperback now, so the price has gone down. It’s a long book, but I enjoyed it overall.
