It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey meant to highlight books you read in the past week, and what you’re planning on reading this week.

Phew! Just got back from an all day trip/band performance in Maine (I live in Massachusetts). Managed to do a little reading on the bus, but it was largely social time to hang out with my community band buddies.
Finished:
Amped by Daniel H. Wilson (audiobook)
Amelia Anne is Dead and Gone by Kat Rosenfield
The Last Dragonslayer by Jasper Fforde
Freaks Like Us by Susan Vaught
The Reluctant Journal of Henry K. Larsen by Susin Nielsen
Continuing to read:
Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm: A New English Version by Philip Pullman (reading on iPod when I walk to the bathroom at work book)
Beyond by Graham McNamee
Hoping to finish:
The Giant and How He Humbugged America by Jim Murphy
Deliriously Happy: and Other Bad Thoughts by Larry Doyle (audiobook)
By the Time You Read This, I’ll Be Dead by Julie Anne Peters
What are you reading this week?

I’ll be posting a review of Amped tomorrow.
My favorite book this week was Ghouls Just Haunt to Have Fun by Victoria Laurie. Please come see what I’m reading now.
I’ve been meaning to read the Victoria Laurie series. Good to hear you enjoyed it!
Hope you had a nice trip to Maine
Freaks Like Us is on my radar …thanks! Have a great week of reading!
The Relentless Reader
Seems like a lot of people are really enjoying Freaks Like Us. I thought it was okay, but had a hard time with the voice of the narrator.
Bahahahahaha, I love your honesty. I totally do that seem thing: reading on the way to the bathroom at work. That’s fantastic. :-p
The way the bathrooms are here, it can be an adventure to find an available ladies’. I feel like the most efficient use of my time is to walk while reading.
Glad to hear I’m not alone.
Wow! That’s quite the impressive list, lady! It’s interesting because I’ve found a lot of people have a hard time juggling more than one book at a time. Like you, I usually have at least 2-3 going at any given moment (split between audiobooks and hardbacks).
Right now I’m stuck in The Maze Runner, The Other End of the Leash: Why We Do What We Do Around Dogs and Terminal Freeze (audiobook). I read one on my lunch at work, one in the car while driving to work and one at home in my spare time.
I need to have multiple books going at a time, in case I get bored of one. I just want to read them all!
The Other End of the Leash sounds like it would be really interesting! I’ll have to check back with you and see what your thoughts are when you finish it.
Absolutey! So far it’s really helped in dealing with my own little pupster. I never realized just how different communication styles are between humans and dogs. Definitely helpful advice so far!
Wowzers! I always love stopping by your blog since you always have such an ecclectic selection of books on the go plus, everytime I pop by my tbr shelf gets a little bit bigger. I can’t wait to see what you think of all your books!
Happy reading!
Check out my It’s Monday! post
