It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey meant to highlight books you read in the past week, and what you’re planning on reading this week.

It was a pretty good reading week, although I’m not yet caught up on my goal for the year. I’m falling behind on reviewing, too, because I have too many other things going on.
Finished:
Ten by Gretchen McNeil
The Dog Stars by Peter Heller
Zombie by J.R. Angelella
Continuing to read:
11/22/63 by Stephen King (audiobook)
Blackout by Mira Grant (had to return it to the library before I could finish it. Now I have to wait for it to get to me again on the holds queue)
Fat is the New 30 by Jill Conner Browne (not in the mood right now)
Hoping to finish:
The White Forest by Adam McOmber
Judging a Book by Its Lover by Lauren Leto
Gary Gianni’s Monstermen and Other Scary Stories by Gary Gianni
What are you reading this week?

Judging A Book By It’s Lover looks good!
Come check out what I’m reading at Between the Bind.
Happy Reading!
I’ve flipped through it, and I think it will be a lot of fun. Plus, I love book about books.
I’ve got to get back to 11/22/63! I alternated between audio and print. Have a great reading week.
You had a good week! Are you watching the Olympics?
Here is mine
I want to watch the Olympics, but I don’t have t.v. I did watch the opening ceremonies at a friend’s house. I think I need to look into what is available through internet streaming.
Me too. I sent back 4 books I couldn’t finish in time. I’ve had to put them back on hold. My favorite read last week was Hereville: How Mirka Met a Meteorite by Barry Deutsch which I read via NetGalley. Please come see what else I’m reading.
I hate having to give them back! Sometimes I wonder if I shouldn’t just hold onto it and pay the fine. But then I feel guilty, because I’m a librarian.
That’s a nice mix of titles, I’d like to read Blackout
I hope you enjoy this weeks reads!

I’m enjoying Blackout so far. I just need the library to give me another copy
I feel as though I am always behind in reviews and I used to stress out about it, but I stopped that. Now, I get to them when I get to them. It is a fine balance between reading/blogging and real life…especially right now with the Olympics going on.
Have a great week!

Definitely! I used to care a lot, but now I’m less stressed about it. I think people are out having fun summers anyway
ooooo Zombie!
Couldn’t help it!
Happy reading this week
The Brunette Librarian Blog
I think this is a summer that has caught everyone by surprise! I can’t keep up, and I had such high hopes of reading and relaxing by the pool, but in a hundred degree weather, no thanks.
Your reads are mostly new to me.. so I wonder if you have heard of my reads?
My Monday Post.
Ten looks like such a cool read! Enjoy your week!
I’ve been thinking about trying audiobooks out. I’ve never used them before and I think it would be a nice change. Happy reading!

I love audiobooks. They can be hit or miss with the narrators, though.
