In My Bookbag, BEA edition #1

Welcome again to In My Bookbag. This is my version of In My Mailbox, a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren.

Since I was at BEA all week, I have a ton of new books, more than is appropriate to put into one post.  So…I’m going to break them up into the next three weeks, one for each day I was on the exhibit floor.

What I picked up at BEA on Tuesday:

Original Sin by Lisa Desrochers (autographed)

The Faerie Ring by Kiki Hamilton

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Those Across the River by Christopher Buehlman

Crusade by Nancy Holder (autographed) and Debbie Viguié

Blood by K.J. Wignall

Dead of Night by Jonathan Maberry (autographed)

Keeper of Lost Causes by Jussi Adler-Olsen

Trial by Fire by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (autographed)

Ashes by Ilsa J. Bick

The Phoenix Apostles by Lynn Sholes and Joe Moore

Robopocalypse by Daniel H. Wilson (autographed)

Legend by Marie Lu

Shelter by Harlan Coben

Abyss by David Hagberg

Quite a load of awesome books! I’m really excited to dive in. There was a nice mix of books on my to-read shelf, as well as new discoveries.

As if that weren’t enough, I also had one come in at the library:

Divergent by Veronica Roth
I’ve heard great things about Divergent so far, so I’m really looking forward to reading it.

What did you add to your bookbag this week?

Wow, you certainly did pick up a whole load of books! Looks like you got some great ones too.

  2. Great haul! Divergent is FANTASTIC – I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Crusade and The Faerie Ring sound fantastic, I can’t wait to read them.

    Books of Amber

Man, I am SO jealous of all those books. I wish I could have gone to BEA, but alas, plane trips from Australia are far too expensive for a 3-day book holiday. :(
    Happy reading!

Check out what’s in my mailbox! :)

I’ll be giving away some of them after I read them, so there’s always the chance of winning a copy, right? I’ve always wanted to live in Australia, but I guess being close to New York definitely has its perks.

You found some great books at BEA! I missed out on meeting Harlan Coben as I was stuck in another line, so am jealous! ;)

Enjoy all of your great new books!

Seriously awesome haul – and that’s only day one! There’s so many in that list I want to read.

As for Diveregent … words cannot express my love for that book. I felt like my own review was so inadquate. I just couldn’t verbalize how much I adore it.
